First photo for sale it my photo of Victoria Bridge in Emu Plains.

Built in 1867, the bridge was just a simple wrought iron girder bridge that crosses the Nepean River. It took one railway line and a road across the river, however in 1907 another bridge was constructed a few metres to the north which henceforth took two railway lines across the river, and the original bridge reverted to road and pedestrian use only. [ ref. ]

In this photo, I was standing on the west bank, facing South-East. It’s the additional rail bridge built in 1907 that can be seen from this angle.

Hanging Rock is a outstanding feature near Baltzer Lookout, at the end of Ridgewell Road, Blackheath. A huge, overhanging block of sandstone over 100m high, jutting out into the Grose Valley, has become detached from the main cliff. It has featured in many calendars and climbing photos, and was also the site of the main climbing scene in "The Edge" movie.

I remember the edge movie... Where I first came to know of this place! :) Now my next challenge, to acctully visit it in real life!

It was a dark and stormy night -- or a reasonably sunny summer morning. I can't quite remember, but it looks like I have surrendered to the blogging temptation. So, is this the beginning of the end for Nick and his sanity? Or did he lose that a long time ago?

I'd love to say this is going to be the most bestest and entertaining blog that you'll ever read, but let's face it. It never will be! My ability to entertain people with my text based personality is severely underdeveloped. I will, however, pledge to make a darn good attempt at sharing my life's events, rants, internet findings or anything else I deem suitable for my readers eyes... So I ask for your assistance and direction by letting you spout your opinion about anything published here within.

So this is a first post to an ever expanding collection of (what I find interesting) junk. So to get the ball rolling, the very first thing (that I find interesting) I would want to share with you all is this site:

Peter Callesen -- A4 Papercut
This is a collection of Peter's A4 paper creations. He uses just a single piece of Acid-free A4 80 gsm paper, glue and a knife (I assume) for most of his work.

Check out Peter's Website, I'm sure you'll like this too.
